Jody and Wood moved to Highlands in 1999 and started Cullasaja Realty with one location at the gate of Cullasaja Club of Highlands. After being awarded the prestigious Sotheby's International Realty franchise in 2008, they opened a second location in downtown Highlands in the complex of The Old Edwards Inn and Spa which was voted the Number One Hotel Spa by Conde Nast.
Wood Lovell succeeded in the competitive Atlanta real estate market for approximately thirty years. His company Griffin/Lovell Realty and Management Company owned and/or operated over 5,000 apartments, managed over fifty condominium Homeowners' Associations and negotiated over sixty million dollars worth of metro Atlanta real estate.
Jody Lovell was an attorney with King and Spalding in Atlanta, an international law firm representing major corporations throughout the world. She received her J.D. from The Ohio State College of Law and her Master's in Business Law from The University of London in 1994. A top producer each year, Jody and her husband, Wood, adopt their clients and integrate them in this wonderful community they call home.
